Carter Murphy’s “HOMM” Brings Listeners Sanity Amid Isolation

Carter Murphy’s “Halls of My Mansion” has the power to keep audiences company during arduous times.

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 25, 2022) - Carter Murphy, a budding new pop artist, is building a name with her upcoming single and music video “Halls Of My Mansion (HOMM)” out November 18th. “HOMM” is a pop-R&B song of endurance, survival, and emergence that is certain to resonate with all ages, especially the ones deprived of experiences who now yearn to make up for those losses. The song speaks for the feeling of being lost, sequestered, and weak and that through darkness and loneliness, we find the strength to cope and come out stronger. “Halls Of My Mansion (HOMM)” advocates that support, especially on a mental aspect, and pushes anyone to have a positive outlook – “Things will change. You just have to endure the pain along the way.“

“HOMM”, written at the peak of the pandemic, represents Carter's creative victory over the negative quarantine forces. Isolated from daily social activities when the pandemic hit in 2020, Carter’s spirit weakened. Late-night songwriting sessions and weekly voice lessons ultimately carried her through the dark days of quarantine, resulting in this debut track alongside over 30 songs, all written during quarantine. The song not only gives strength during dark times but also leaves listeners wanting to hear more…. setting the stage for Murphy’s future.

Carter Murphy, born in 2006 in Texas, began singing along to the radio as a toddler and never stopped. She joined the internationally-awarded choir at her local public high school in Los Angeles. Surrounded by musically-inclined individuals, this helped her acclimate to a new social environment and fueled her desire to dive deeper into music.
